The museum of the private distillery Unterthurner is always worth a visit.

On appointment, you can also have a guided tour of our distillery and learn about the history of schnapps distillation.

St. Amandus is considered the patron of schnapps distillers, as this monk and son of a family of vintners spread the art of distilling and producing herb schnapps during his travels in the early Middle Ages.
