PLUM SPIRIT – BARRIQUE

Distilled from local plums. The plums from Graun above Tramin, picked when they are ripe, yield a very special, intense aroma. The stone-fruit gives the plum spirit also a slight almond note. These aromas a even more refined by being briefly stored in barrique barrels and also have a touch of vanilla aroma.

Raw material: regional plums from the Wegerhof estate in Graun above Tramin
Distillation method: water bath pot
Storage/ageing: at least 2 years + ripening in barrique barrels
Alcohol content: 42% vol.
Content: 500 cc
Colour/clarity: golden brown
Aroma: fruity-aromatic, together with an almond and vanilla note
Flavour: harmonious and full of character but subtle
Aftertaste: long lasting
Tip: Excellent combination with bitter chocolate
