In the distillation stills of the company Unterthurner, which were specifically developed for the production of different fruit brandies and grape marc spirits, products are created that intrigue the palate, as they are manufactured with the utmost care during each phase of the manufacturing process. Nature provides the raw materials: raspberries, blueberries, apricots, plums, apples, pears, cherries, quinces, walnuts, and sloes. Each type of fruit has its own unique character and is subjected to a fermentation or maceration process prior to distilling as required. The product thus offers the best from its area of origin. The best selected raw ingredients come from South Tyrol, where juicy apples, pears, raspberries and grapes have always been growing, from the forests of Eastern Europe where wild growing, untreated fruits thrive, and from the generous region Emilia-Romagna with its sweet, ripe fruits, which release their complex natural aromas in the distillery Unterthurner – you can taste that during each sip.
